They are internationally in high demand. Negro’s offspring are widely appreciated for the great cooperative nature, inquisitiveness, hard work, and of course the trade balance of Negro No. 1: the great hind leg use, and great potential for change.
Negro’s children make a stir everywhere, with champions, approved stallions and daughters talked out in the USA, UK, Scandinavia etc..
Despite his still young age, his children are competing and winning at the highest level, including the most famous son Valegro – who was 2011 European Team Gold Medal Winner.
Also through the powerful and positive influences of his genetics, he is becoming increasingly valued as a maternal sire.

Color:Bay date of birth: April 21 2002
Height:16.2H Markings: StarYear Licensed: 2005 in Verden Breeding Approval: Hanoverian , Danish Suitability: Dressage, BreedingBreeder:Hengsthaltung Kothe, Gestüt Alsenhof, Wacken (Germany)Owner:Leatherdale Farms
Damsey-Extraordinary Dressage Stallion Damsey is proving to be a most exceptional dressage stallion. His walk and his huge trot catch the eye of any serious dressage rider or judge. His bloodlines include the Who's Who of Hanoverian pedigrees--- Donnerhall, Rubinstein, Ritual/Ramiro and Grande. His materal lines includes many state's premium mares as well.
Damsey was licensed Hanoverian in 2005 and went through his 70 day testing until the final week of the testing when he came down with a fever and his previous owner decided not to have him continue sick nor take the average for the testing due to his magnificnet score so far. We applaud this previous owner for his concern putting the stallion first. We then were very lucky to have found him and bought him in December of 2005 and brought him the Hengststation Meyer to be a stall mate of His Highness!
We began his training in dressage and found him very talented! More than we would have imagined with him consistently scoring extremely well in compettions...his walk being his highlight with consistent 9.5's!
Damsey's sire Dressage Royal, who belongs to the famous Oldenburg dam line of Fasse III, completed his 30-Day Test in 2001 in Münster- Handorf with brilliant results. He won several riding horse performance tests and dressage horse performance tests. In 2003, he placed in the Federal Championships of five-year-old dressage horses and had a successful horse show season. Dressage Royal has produced a large number of foals, being sold through the Verden Elite auction program and the auction in Frauenfeld/SUI. The licensed Damsey belongs to his first foal crop.
Damsey's dam Ria Grande has also produced Damsey's half sister Daianira vd Helle (Dream of Glory) who placed 13th in the final of the World Championships of six-year-old dressage horses in 2005 with her rider Vicky Smits/BEL and third (with over 80%) in the Flanders Open/BEL. In 2004, Daianira vd Helle placed sixth in the final of the World Championships of five-year-old dressage horses. Dam father Ritual is a great sire of show horses of all disciplines. The prize money in competition of his descendants, like Rainy Day (Alois Pollmann- Schweckhorst), Ramadan Z (Eduardo Netto de Almeida/POR), Rubia (Axel Milkau) and Resonanz (Hartwog Rhode) is more than 362,000 Euros in 2005. Ritual is sire of 14 licensed sons, among them Rudelsburg, sire of Rulanda (ridden by Imke Harms), champion of the German Show Jumping Masters in 2005. Damsey's granddam, the States Premium mare Grandizza produced the successful driving horse Rosewood (Ritual) and the two States Premium mares Rituals Praline (Ritual) and Dea (De Niro). Grandizza's half sister Tiffany (Tannenberg) placed highly in dressage tests up to medium level.

Gaspard de la Nuit DG (Ravel x Sir Donnerhall)

Sport Results in North America
Ravel's strapping son first captured America's imagination for himself shortly after his birth in 2011, when an overwhelming response to a national foal-naming contest yielded his inspirational namesake: "Gaspard de la Nuit" is a piano solo piece composed by Ravel and based on a poem by Aloysius Bertrand. The inherent talent of the dark bay colt immediately became evident, as he became the national foal champion during that fall's KWPN-NA keuring tour. "We knew from the beginning that he was special," said Willy Arts of DG Bar Ranch. "Even as a foal he showed a lot of potential."
Now Gaspard de la Nuit DG (Ravel x Ceolieta [elite/Sport] by Sir Donnerhall) has not only grown into his impressive lineage, but also the high hopes of his owners and breeders DG Bar Ranch Breeders, Inc. and Akiko Yamazaki. As a breathtaking three-year-old, he was the undisputed star of the 2014 KWPN-NA keurings, earning praise from the international panel of judges and scores high enough to be crowned national IBOP champion for dressage. He also continued his dominance at the inspections by claiming his age division's prestigious DG Bar Cup, a national competition held at keurings for young Dutch horses to highlight their development for careers in sport.
As a young KWPN stallion born and raised in the U.S., Gaspard de la Nuit DG will pursue final KWPN stallion approval by undergoing two more years of evaluation to prove his excellence both in the performance arena and the breeding shed. After earning his stallion license last fall, he will now go on to compete in the four- and five-year-old divisions of the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Program with rider Ashlyn DeGroot while also siring a minimum of 10 foals. After fulfilling all of these requirements, he will then proceed to a formal 21-day stallion test in North America and seek final approval as a breeding stallion by the KWPN, on par with other approved stallions in Holland.
Gaspard de la Nuit DG looks poised to follow in his father's footsteps to stardom, and from what he's seen so far, Arts has no doubt the young star will fulfill his destiny. "He has incredible gaits with a phenomenal canter, but I think even more amazing are his character and temperament - he has super rideability and a high ability for collection, just like his father and grandfather," said Arts."I think an additional strong point of particular interest for North American breeders is that since he does not carry Ferro, Flemmingh, or Jazz blood, he is a great outcross for mares from those sire lines. I also think it's a big plus to have the sire lines of Contango and Ravel continued here in America because they've proven they have the ability to do the Grand Prix themselves, so of course you would want to use those stallions for producing a talented FEI-level mount. Gaspard de la Nuit is the only son of Ravel available.

Wild Dance(Wolkenstein II/Matcho x/Goldstein)
We are proud to welcome our new stallion to the line up “Wild Dance”, a 16.2 hh Hanoverian Grand Prix performer with many wins and placings and already multiple offspring at Grand Prix Level. Winner of the 100-day stallion testing in Germany with over 140 points! Over 147 points in dressage/ridability. Although he is a fantastic mover, he also received a 9 on jumping. Wild Dance is by one of the best Weltmeyer sons, Wolkenstein II, out of a States Premium mare by Matcho AA. This bloodline combination has proven exceptional. Leoni Bramall and Hubertus Schmidt both publicly stated that Wild Dance has an exceptional temperament and willingness to work. He is a good candidate to refine heavier warmblood mares and add movement and suspension to the gaits.
Wild Dance is nothing short of breathtaking. With elastic movement, natural balance and self-carriage, he is a dream. He placed fourth in the German National Championship as a young horse. His father, Wolkenstein II, was also the winner of his stallion performance testing and went on to sire 41 licensed sons.
Wild Dance who placed fourth in the Bundeschampionat as a youngster, has an impressive FEI show record. In 2005, with Hubertus Schmidt, he was the Reserve Champion at the 2005 Neurenberger BurgPokal Finals, a prestigious show circuit in Germany for seven to nine year dressage horses competing at Prix St. Georges. Wild Dance and rider Hubertus Schmidt had the highest qualifying scores, routinely scoring above 75%.
Due to his focus on performance in Germany and lack of breeding interest by his owners, Wild Dance did not keep a heavy breeding schedule, however, his offspring statistics are spectacular. In 2011, Wild Dance has less than 50 offspring because of his owners focus on performance. Yet with only 24 offspring registered in competition 10 had successes and 4 are placing at Grand Prix Level in 2011. “Will Be” placed at Grand Prix already as a seven-year-old and by 2011 had 43 placings and 9 victories. Seven mares became States Premium mares in Germany. In the U.S. he bred only a handful of mares but produced the top-scoring Premium colt nationwide for the Oldenburg N.A. Wild Gamboled HU became an Elite Mare Candidate and ”Deyonce” (Wild Dance/Contucci) became one of only three Swedish Diploma mares in 2011.
Wild Dance is fully licensed and approved for breeding by the American Hanoverian Society, the German Hanoverian Verband (AHS & VHW) and Oldenburg/ISR, GOV, Rhineland, Hessen, Westfalen, Sachsen Anhalt, CWHBA and approved by SWANA for Swedish mares.

Sempatico
Sempatico's breeding is impeccable, as a foal Sempatico was the "Bundeschampionat" National Champion ZfDP. He is by the Oldenburg approved pinto stallion Semper (pictured left at Oldenburg approvals), who is by Sandro, the Holsteiner stallion who is also the sire of Sandro Hit, Sandro Song and has a total of 36 approved sons, 308 approved mares, 27 states premium mares. Semper's dam Imago is an Elite Preferent rated KWPN mare, by Samber the world's most influential and successful pinto Warmblood of all time . Sempatico's dam line is also impressive, VPrSt Indian Dream (photo right) is a Verband Premium mare who is by the Dutch stallion Ico who is by the Kuer Preferent rated by the KWPN, Trakehner Marco Polo. VPrSt Indian Dream is out of Sabrina a Westphalian mare...
Sempatico has completed both his 30 day test & 70 day test at Prussendorf finishing 5th out of 18, 3rd in dressage index and 8th in jumping index. Final score: 7.81 Also at the announcements of his scores Frank Bangert the head director of Prussendorf State Stud said "Sempatico is the best colored horse he has ever seen" and congratulated both Gestüt Falkenhorst and his breeder Mr. Michel on such a nice horse. In his 70 day testing, Sempatico finished 6th in dressage with a great score of 121.25 points! He placed 11th of all 30 stallions in this testing with a total score of 106.67.
Anita Heuser, the Thuringian Vice Master of Dressage, had Semptico in training, she states that he is not only wonderful to watch but equally wonderful to ride. Sempatico started out in the USA at Willowlake Farm being ridden and trained by Carol Lawrence over the winter. Everyone at Willowlake had rave reviews for Sempatico, they loved his temperament and Carol loved how wonderful he was under saddle.
Sempatico's first show in the US was Dressage at Devon, with little preparation (due to a tornado we had here and Sempaticos heavy breeding schedule earlier in the season) Sempatico shined; placing in the top 4 in every class and winning all of his IBC classes. We hope to have Sempatico debuting at FEI levels in 2008. With limited showing due to an extremely busy breeding schedule he Sempatico qualified for the 2006 USDF championships at his first show. He also is winning at 1st level.
Sempatico's first foal crop in Germany had 2 inspection Champions out of a very small foal crop. The two fillies pictured below are owned and bred by Gestüt Falkenhorst, the first was inspection Champion and first premium, the other was also premium both are homozygous. The first US foal crops have received numerous premium ratings and several championships at their various warmblood inspections.

Feuertanzer is the product of generations of selective breeding. His pedigree is filled with Grand Prix performers and 4 Elite stallions in the first three generation alone. His sire line is famous for superb rideability, and his dam line is wel known for performance at the highest levels.
True to his heritage, Feuertänzer possesses all of the qualities desired in the modern sporthorse. His exceptional temperament, conformation, gaits, and jumping aptitude are well documented. In 1999, Feuertänzer was presented to the American Trakehner Association for stallion approval. He was overwhelming approved with unheard of scores which later earned him "Premium" status (one of only four stallions receiving this honor from the ATA). His marks of ALL 9's and 8's were the 2nd highest ever given by the ATA!
The 1990-1998 Top Ten USDF Leading Sires list contains Feuertänzer's sire, grandsire, and great grandsire. These three stallions are not only outstanding sires, they are all accomplished FEI competitioorses as well. Success truly does breed success!
Unfortunately, Feuertänzer was injured before he could complete his performance requirement and receive his full breeding approval from the ATA.
